5 More Days

Just got the call. 8:30 on Wednesday morning I am meeting my lawyer at the Collin County courthouse to finalize my divorce.

To say that I'm having mixed emotions is an understatement. How are you supposed to feel? Sad? Relieved? Happy to have closure? Remorse? Mourning for a great loss? Yes. I suppose all of them are natural and right in this situation. Just pray that I will have peace. Thanks.

Isaiah 26:3 "You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You."

My dear sweet friend...I can't imagine the array of emotions you are experiencing...Praise God for His promises that He is with you and will never forsake you, He is Your strength and your refuge in time of trouble. He's already met your greatest need and with Jesus He will provide everything you need.

"Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in th eland and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him..." Psalm 37:3-7a

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Whenever we have been one with a person in marriage the undoing of that is going to be emotional. I pray that you are finding emotional protection under Gods providential wing.

My love and prayers are with you today....but more importantly Jesus is walking with you this day! May you feel His perfect peace and comfort today and continually through this storm!!!

"How great is Your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you. In the shelter of your presence you hide them from the intrigues of men; in your dwelling you keep them safe... Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord."

Psalm 31:19-20,24
